We are very excited to have Charlotte returning to us for her second winter season here in Meribel.
She loved her experience in ski season 2023/2024 and is looking forward to working with new and returning families this winter. Each family adored her, as you can easily tell from her references below.
Charlotte is a dedicated and experienced childcare professional with over 7 years of experience working with children of all ages. She holds a CPD Level 3 award in Childcare and has additional certifications in Child Protection, Health & Safety, Mental Wellbeing, Food Hygiene, and Moving and Handling.
Charlotte’s work experience includes working in a nursery, where she gained strong experience with babies and younger children. She then worked as a private nanny during the pandemic, caring for two children (ages 1 and 3). She has also spent multiple academic years working as a SEN teaching assistant, supporting teachers and therapists in developing individualised education plans for children with special needs. Her special needs experience has sharpened her skills in promoting child development. She has an incredible knowledge of what is needed to encourage cognitive processes, bolster speech development, and augment social and emotional skill development. She has helped with a wide array of specialized care, from overseeing children’s diet needs to creating routines and collaborating closely with parents to develop plans and spaces to ensure each child’s specific needs are met properly.
In the past year, Charlotte spent an incredible season with us in Meribel. After that, she continued her childcare work as a temporary full-time nanny in Spain over the summer. In this role, she cared for three children of different ages. This autumn, she worked as a nanny in London for a family with 3 boys aged 10, 7, and 3 years old. Focusing on providing extra support for the non-verbal 10-year-old.
Charlotte’s diverse experience and qualifications make her a valuable asset to any childcare team, and we are so glad to have her with us in the mountains. She is extremely capable and passionate about providing high-quality care and support to the children and families she works with. Charlotte was born and raised in Spain but has been based in London over the last number of years. She is already fluent in English and Spanish and is looking forward to spending more time in France this year where she can continue advancing her French.
Charlotte loves the outdoors and has skied from a very young age. She is excited to get out and about in the snow with the little ones and cannot wait to meet new families and to welcome back returning clients.
FEEDBACK 2023/24
The perfect fit! Charlotte’s practicality never wavered when our kids were difficult with handovers. She persevered and it was great to know we were leaving them in kind and capable hands. The children were taken on an outing every day and thoroughly enjoyed their holiday and activities with their new friend, allowing us to enjoy our time on the piste without the guilt. Charlotte was fantastic with our kids! She had so much energy for them and was so capable, I had no concerns about leaving them with her at all. We are so glad we found Nicole and Charlotte! Nicole was a pleasure to work with and book through. Charlotte could not have been a more perfect holiday nanny. I skied much more than I expected I would as I knew my kids were having a blast and loved spending time with her and that she had everything under control. She had no issue navigating the shuttle system with two kids. Our baby adored her and our older daughter did as well! Every morning she’d ask “is Charlotte coming? Yay!” We may need to book our ski holidays going forward based on when Charlotte is available 🙂 Nicole also went above and beyond in delivering toys and equipment to a very difficult-to-access apartment. Overall a 10-star experience!! Would be happy to recommend or act as a reference 🙂

The nannies were both amazing! The boys just loved them and so did we. We cannot say thank you enough for being so incredible with them and their cousins all week long. Having peace of mind that our littles were in good hands is SO helpful & allowed us to enjoy our time skiing knowing they were in good hands. We would love to have them again in the future! Taking them out to play in the snow, down to Meribel Centre for snacks and to ski school – they really went above and beyond and we are just so grateful. Martinez – Family – Les Allues – December 2023
We had the most absolutely incredible time with both Wietske and Charlotte!! It’s evident they love kids, and all 4 kids they watched adored them (even though they were all babies/toddlers & never had been away from their mamas long). SO impressed with both ladies’ communications, photos / videos throughout the week, flexibility (!!), how fun they were, & how willing they were to do various things asked of them or to travel with our kids downtown. By the end of the week, our babies were hugging them and interacting as if they were their aunties!! Charlotte and Wiestke did a great job feeding our babies, transporting them downtown on a bus and on daily walks with the strollers, and our kids all slept AMAZING all week!! Huge! The kids had a blast, and us mamas (all 3 of us) were able to relax and enjoy skiing knowing our babies were in excellent hands. So thankful for both ladies and their kindness and passion for children!! We’d use them again in a heartbeat and feel like we’ve made new friends! 🙂
