Working in the USA as a Camp Councellor during the summer of 2017,2018 & 2019
Working as an Au Pair in Spain caring for a 4 year old, encouraging learning English language through play and immersing herself into the family and culture.
And during the Pandemic Maggie worked as a private nanny for a several local families in Washington DC, during this time she expanded her understanding of private childcare and gained experience with sole charge care of multiple children and different aged children.
After graduating from University in Scotland in 2020 with a degree in International Relations, Maggie switched lanes into working more with children after seeing the great need for quality childcare during the pandemic.
For the past 12 months, Maggie has been working in a Montessori school as a Primary assistant teacher, working with children from 3 – 6 years, assisting the lead teacher to guide up to 22 students in their day to day classroom experience and learning.
Maggie loved her time travelling and gaining more child care experience in Spain and expanding on this during her most recent position, she is beyond excited to work a job abroad again as she joins our team for her first season in Meribel this December.
She thoroughly enjoys working with children and is interested in child and adolescent development. She is especially passionate about promoting mental health and wellbeing for young people and hopes to build a career in this field in the future.
In her free time Maggie loves to travel, cook, draw, bike, and of course ski! She played rugby in university and absolutely loves picking up any sport.
Maggie speaks Spanish fluently and is looking forward to picking up some French, she loves to learn new things and sees each experience as a learning opportunity.
She is warm, friendly, and energetic and bonds quickly with children by making sure to show enthusiasm about their interests. She loves connecting with new people and is excited to engage with the families she will work with in Meribel this season.
