We are delighted to welcome Hunnah Cheng from New Zealand to the Méribel Nanny Services team, where she will be joining us as a part-time nanny for the coming winter season.
Hunnah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Diploma in Health Psychology, and since 2017 has been working with children aged 3 years and above in a variety of rewarding roles. Her experience includes working as a swim teacher, gymnastics instructor, youth worker, child and youth educator, and youth counsellor, giving her a broad range of skills and experience supporting children with different personalities, abilities, and needs.
As the second oldest of eight siblings, Hunnah has spent much of her life around young children and has developed a natural ability to build trusting relationships with them. She often finds that children are immediately drawn to her warm and friendly personality. Her experience as a child and youth counsellor has given her the confidence to quickly understand each child’s individual needs, helping them feel happy, safe, and engaged.
Hunnah has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and has a particular interest in female neurodivergence, ADHD, and autism, specialising in school-aged children and young adults. She enjoys planning creative, stimulating activities that encourage confidence, imagination, and plenty of fun while ensuring every child feels included.
Although her professional experience has focused mainly on children aged three years and over, Hunnah also has personal experience caring for babies and toddlers from around one year old. She is looking forward to expanding her professional experience with younger children while creating memorable holiday experiences for visiting families.
New to skiing and excited for her first winter in the Alps, Hunnah can’t wait to begin her new adventure in the Three Valleys while sharing her enthusiasm, kindness, and positive energy with the families she cares for.
