We are delighted to welcome Amelia Lotze to the Méribel Nanny Services team for winter 2026/27. Originally from Australia, Amelia is a registered nurse turned professional nanny, bringing together over 10 years of healthcare experience with a genuine passion for providing safe, attentive, fun, and nurturing childcare. Her unique combination of clinical knowledge, hands-on childcare experience, and professionalism makes her a wonderful addition to our team.
Amelia’s love of working with children began as a teenager when she started babysitting for local families. Throughout her nursing career, she continued to build on this passion, gaining valuable experience supporting babies, children and adults in both community healthcare and hospital settings. Her calm, caring nature and ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs help families feel reassured that their children are in safe and capable hands.
In 2025, Amelia and her husband made the move to France, spending the summer working in Corsica before settling in Méribel for the 2025/26 winter season. During her first winter in the Alps, Amelia worked successfully as a freelance nanny, caring for babies from 11 weeks old through to older children, working in hotels, chalets, and private apartments. She quickly built a fantastic reputation for her warm personality, reliability, and high standard of care.
Amelia is passionate about creating engaging, child-led experiences, whether that means exploring the mountains, getting creative with arts and crafts, or simply ensuring children feel happy, relaxed, and at home while their parents enjoy their holiday.
We are thrilled to have Amelia joining our nanny dream team this winter. She shares our values of teamwork, support, professionalism, and, of course, plenty of fun, and we know she will be a fantastic addition to the Méribel Nanny Services family.
