Chloe Donohoe is originally from Ireland and is currently working towards her Level 5 and Level 6 Certificates in Early Learning and Care. Alongside her childcare qualifications, she has completed training in Children’s Healthcare and Advanced Sleep Training, further enhancing her knowledge of child development and wellbeing.
With over six years of experience working with children from 4 months through to young adults, Chloe brings a wealth of practical childcare knowledge to the Méribel Nanny Services team. She also has both professional and personal experience supporting children with Autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN), giving her a strong understanding of how to adapt her approach to meet each child’s individual needs.
Chloe’s first professional childcare role was as a Childminder’s Assistant, where she cared for children from 4 months upwards in a busy home-based childcare setting. Her responsibilities included feeding, nappy changing, planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities, and supporting children’s development through play. During her three years in this role, she gained invaluable experience caring for children of varying ages and developmental stages.
Following this, Chloe moved to Munich, Germany, where she worked as a private nanny and mother’s helper for two children aged 2 and 4 years old. In this role, she provided full-time care, managed daily routines, prepared meals, supported nursery and kindergarten schedules, and assisted with all aspects of the children’s day-to-day care.
Afterwards, Chloe took on a role as an English Learning Guide in Munich, working with children aged 6 to 36 months. This position focused on teaching English through immersion, play, songs, and everyday interactions, helping young children develop language skills in a fun and natural environment.
In 2025, Chloe returned to Dublin, where she has been working as a temporary nanny alongside her studies. Over the past year, she has cared for an 8-month-old baby and an 18-month-old toddler, further developing her experience with babies and young children. During these roles, she also gained valuable experience supporting children with severe food allergies, including managing gluten intolerance and Coeliac disease safely and confidently.
Chloe loves working with children of all ages but has a particular passion for caring for babies and toddlers. Her warm, nurturing nature, combined with her knowledge of early childhood development, makes her a wonderful fit for families with younger children. That said, she is equally excited to experience every aspect of resort childcare, from baby cuddles and sensory play to sledging adventures, snowman building, and creating magical holiday memories with older children in the mountains.
We are delighted to welcome Chloe to the Méribel Nanny Services team and look forward to seeing her thrive during her first winter season in the French Alps.
