We are delighted to welcome Geraldine Albuen to the Winter 2026/27 team, originally from Toronto, Canada, Geraldine is a Qualified nanny and Early Childhood Educator (Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education) with nearly 10 years of professional experience working with children from 1 year – 12 years old.
Geraldines first experiences working with children was babysitting and nannying for local families, providing ad – hoc childcare for children from 1 year up to 12 years, providing after school care, day time and evening care of 1 – 3 children sole and shared charge.
After her studies were complete, Geraldine worked as an Early Childhood Educator in before and afterschool clubs in Toronto as well as summers as a Summer Camp Councillor, planning, leading engaging activities, helping with homework etc with large groups of children aged 3 – 12 years old.
In 2024 Geraldine moved to Australia where she has continued to expand her childcare experience. Working as an Au Pair , caring for childcare ages 7&9 years old assisting with school routines, homework and all aspects of daily childcare and nannying for a 2nd family who’s little one is 2.5 years old, planning and providing age appropriate activities, learning through play, full duties including nappy changing, feeding, settling for naps etc
Geraldine is a warm, caring and enthusiastic nanny who enjoys creating fun, engaging and nurturing environments where children can learn, grow and feel confident. We are excited to have her join the Meribel Nanny Services team this winter and know she will provide exceptional care to families visiting the Three Valleys.
