Mollie O'Neill

Mollie

We are delighted to welcome Mollie to our team for winter 2025/26.

Mollie has recently completed her BSc in Midwifery at Queen’s University, Belfast, and also holds A Levels in Business Studies, Religious Education, and Health & Social Care.

Her midwifery degree has given her extensive experience caring for babies and young children from birth upwards. This complements her long-standing babysitting experience for local families, as well as her work assisting at her local sports club with children aged 4 years to young adults.

Mollie’s babysitting and nannying roles have included full care for children, creating fun and stimulating activities, preparing meals, overnight stays, and providing both emotional and physical support.

She also volunteers with a local charity dedicated to supporting families with premature babies where she has worked with babies from birth to one year. During her time volunteering with Tinylife, Mollie has helped with feeding, changing, bathing and offering guidance and emotional support to parents.

Beyond her professional experience, She is an active, energetic individual who thrives outdoors. She been skiing in Montgenèvre, Val Thorens, and Cervinia, and is excited about the opportunity to combine her passion for childcare with her enthusiasm for mountain life. In her spare time, she is also training to become a Pilates instructor, which reflects her ongoing commitment to health, wellness, and working with people in supportive roles.

With her expertise, warmth, and hands-on experience, Mollie is a truly well-rounded nanny. We are thrilled to have her join the team, and her references speak volumes—sharing nothing but glowing praise for her care, professionalism, and kind nature.

“It is my absolute pleasure to provide a reference for Mollie O’Neill, who has worked with us for the past eight months. In that time, she has proven to be one of the most dependable, mature, and capable members of our team—an exceptional individual who consistently goes above and beyond in every aspect of her work.

I have no doubt that Mollie will thrive in any environment, especially one as dynamic and people focused as working as a private nanny. She is responsible, trustworthy, and compassionate qualities that make her not only an excellent employee but a truly lovely person to have around.

I recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation”

“I have known Mollie from a very young age as they are family friends. Mollie babysat for me a few years, I have three children who were approximately 8, 10 and 12. Mollie is a lovely girl who I trusted entirely with my children. The children loved to see her as she always had fun things planned. Known Mollie now she is very caring and understanding.

I feel Mollie would be excellent at this job.”

“I have known Mollie for 2 – 3 years, I would describe Mollie as patient, nurturing, and reliable person . Patience is essential when working with children. Mollie has gained all this experience through her midwifery degree where she has cared for women in labour or any stage of their pregnancy where they may be in pain or anxious. Mollie is aware when to-stay calm and composed, which helps children feel safe and understood. Mollie has developed this skill in her degree especially in the intrapartum period where emergencies can arise when babies are to be born. Mollie has a great initiative as is aware to escalate any concerns if it falls outside her scope of practice. Mollie is also very nurturing—kids need to feel emotionally supported. Mollie always shows and offers kindness, encouragement, and a listening ear. Lastly, being reliable is key for families depending on Mollie. Mollie always shows up on time, follow through on commitments, and maintains open communication with parents in her professional care. These traits help the parents and Mollie to build a strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.

Mollie would be great as sole charge nanny position. During a midwifery degree- the students have to adapt to taking their own patients and meeting their needs. Mollie has great experience with this and these skills would transfer easily for Mollie. Mollie works great in a team and would be a brilliant leader.”
