Melanie Kruger is returning to us for her 2nd winter season and we are very excited to have her back in the mountains this winter!
Melanie is a dedicated and experienced childcare professional and has over 15 years of experience working with children in a wide range of settings, including nurseries, schools, homes, and summer camps with children 6 months – 12 years
She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish and holds a BAFA certificate, a French qualification for supervising young people in community centres and holiday and leisure centres. She has worked and travelled all over the world! Spending time living and working in countries such as France, Italy, Spain, and Panama.
After living and working in Panama, Melanie returned to France in the summer of 2023. She spent the summer season in Morzine, where she worked as a holiday nanny for a well-known nanny company and also took on cleaning duties.
During the winter of 2023/2024, Melanie joined our team in Meribel as a nanny, working with children from 6 months – 12 years, She had an incredible season and completely fell in love with the job.
During the summer Melanie has been travelling around Europe including Albania, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia as well as heading to Portugal to volunteer at a dog shelter and in the Autumn she has spent time in Mexico.
Throughout last winter she received amazing feedback from all of her clients, many of whom have requested her again, and she is eager to return to Meribel for another season.
Melanie likes to take the time to get to know the children she is caring for. She enjoys taking them out on adventures outdoors and crafting.
She describes herself as patient, flexible, fun and friendly. She loves travel, nature, animals and sharing her passions with the children. Melanie is available throughout the season for full time bookings in the Meribel Valley. Her weeks are booking up fast so we recommend booking as early as possible!
