kathryn Stuart

We are excited to have Kathryn joining our team for winter 2024/25, Kathryn is a British Qualified nanny with over 25 years experience working with children including bringing up her own (now adult) children and 3 ski seasons experience in Morzine, La Plagne and Courchevel.

Kathryn holds an NNEB certificate in Childcare and Education (level 3 CACHE Diploma) and has experience in several roles and enviroments including working as a private nanny, nursery nurse, Childminder and Creche Manager caring for children from 3 months – 12 years in the UK and in France.

Her previous seasons before she had her children we’re working in the Creche of a family friendly chalet company, in Courchevel and La Plagne where she cared for children on their holiday, planning and providing fun activities indoors and outdoors, preparing and feeding lunch and snacks, settling for naps and evening babysitting.

In 2023 Kathryn and her husband decided to head out to Europe on an adventure in their campervan and in January 2024 they arrived in Morzine, where she started to work as a freelance nanny for a well known nanny agency. Kathryn fully enjoyed this role and loved being back in the mountains, so sought out work again for this upcoming season with a plan to head back to Courchevel.

Although resort will have changed alot since her last season here, She is excited for another season in Courchevel and cannot wait to meet lots of new families. Her references had nothing but lovely things to say about her, including

“Kathryn spent a week with us in Chatel in April this year, looking after two babies (both 1) and then taking care of our 5 year old boys when they finished ski school.

We were super pleased with the service Kathryn provided for us. She was always on time, and very flexible if we needed extra hours. She is extremely calm and engaging with the children, and handled them all brilliantly. The babies became very attached and happy to see her each day, she took them both out for trips to the library, park, carousel etc., and entertained two tired boys well. We found her to be very friendly and warm, and it made our holiday knowing our children were in such capable hands. I would highly recommend her services and would definitely use her again should we ever end up in the same resort! “

“Kathryn started looking after my daughter when she was 14 months old as a child minder. My daughter loved going to Kate’s and doing a variety of activities which helped bring on her education. Kate is very patient with all ages children and learns quickly of each child’s behaviour and which way to use to get them on the right track. She also used to sort out and deal with doctors and dentist appointments whilst I was at work. My daughter was with Kate for 4 years and she still asks now to go to Kate’s.
I wish Kate was still about now to have my youngest daughter. We love having our face times with Kate and can’t wait for her when she comes to visit as she takes both my daughters out”
