Her reference from the school, had nothing but lovely things to say about her including

“ I Highly recommend her for any position with children-in a group of or 1:1. She has the ability to connect and develop children at their own pace, Michelle has a fantastic warm, caring personality and always has a very positive outlook”

In 2017 for her studies, Michelle was working a placement in a primary school working with children 3 – 5 years working with severe Autism, from this role she was offered her first position in a primary school covering maternity cover for a colleague. This was a great role and she was sad to leave at the end of the contract. This kick started her career into specialising in special needs and care, however she is looking to gain more varied experience with children and this is the perfect job for that.

As well as school experience, to gain experience with little ones, during weekends and holidays Michelle also spent time working as a part time babysitter/nanny with 2 children 4 months & 3 years old in their own home. Her role included

Following their routines, nappy changing, feeding, providing fun and stimulating activities, reading stories, settling for naps, bath time and bedtime. Michelle thoroughly enjoyed doing this role and is looking forward to more roles like this, in this new job……

“Shelly minded my children in my home.
Ages 2.5 years and 4 months old.
She took care of all their needs, changed their nappies, put them to bed to nap, changed their clothes, provided meals, played with them indoors and outside. I would recommend Michelle for the mentioned role (Private nanny). I found Michelle very mature and responsible. She works a lot on her own initiative which made it easier for me to leave her with the children”

Michelle will also be doing our very own baby care training in resort and is excited to get cuddles and play time with the little ones.

In her spare time Michelle loves to be outdoors walking, hiking and skiing, doing photography and yoga/pilates

2022/23 feedback

“Thanks so much to Shelly for looking after our two girls for the week. We felt totally at ease leaving them with Shelly (it was our first time leaving our 7 month old with anyone else). They warmed to her straight away and nothing was too much trouble for her. We wish her all the best and will use your company again in the future”

“Shelly was absolutely fantastic, she came in and bonded with the boys immediately. We instantly felt like they were in excellent hands. She kept us updated with photos and gave us a debrief at the end of the day, she was happy to come and see us before we left them to chat and get to know us as well which is also important when leaving your young ones! We will miss Shelly and wish her all the best!”

Jepson family – Chalet Tomkins – Meribel – March 2023

“We were so lucky to have Shelly for the week we were in Meribel! She was amazing! Jack is only 10 months old and felt comfortable with her instantly, which was great and such a relief for us as he is going through a clingy phase. She gave us lovely updates and photos throughout the day so we knew he was happy, this was important for us as we hadn’t really left him before. Jack was so happy and excited to see her every time she arrived, she really helped to make our holiday enjoyable and worry free!”

!Shelly was just terrific!  She is such a lovely person… calm, caring, smart… and just willing to do anything to help out.  When it came time to pack… I ask her to do a few things- to throw things in a suitcase… But when I came back from skiing… She had completely packed the house up. I was so impressed with her proactivity, and obviously so happy not to have to deal with that myself.!

I really really liked having her around.  And most importantly, Henry felt at ease with her, and was very happy to leave me… When she was around… So I know that she gave him wonderful care!”
