Katie Hutchinson is 33 years old and has been working on and off with children in various settings and roles since 2008.
Firstly, as an Au Pair in Chicago providing full time care for a 3 year old, providing for all his personal needs, following his routine, planning and providing fun activities, offering learning through play, taking him out on trips and adventures.
She has worked privately as a nanny and babysitter for multiple families, caring for both children and babies 6 months to 12 years. From evening babysitting to afterschool nannying, preparing and supervising mealtimes, bath time and bedtime routine etc Katie is comfortable with it all.
Between 2008 and 2012 Katie was able to combine her passion for dance and working with children by volunteering as a dance teacher for PE lessons in a local primary school where she also volunteered as a classroom aid, working with children 4 – 11 years.
Her roles over the years have allowed her to gain experience with an array of ages from 06 months up to young adults. Last season Katie was in resort for a few months but not working. She saw how much fun the nannies had with their charges on a daily basis and decided this was the job for her!
